Our capacity-building work in education spans a broad spectrum of initiatives — building the skills of teachers, parents and students alike.

Disaster-resilient, inclusive school infrastructure
In collaboration with Dr. Qaiser Ali Associates as our consultants, we have delivered over 200 disaster-resistant, inclusive school buildings — supporting the Elementary & Secondary Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

We have provided infrastructure to schools marked for upgradation across Districts Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram and Torghar in KP Province — a crucial step in improving the educational landscape and expanding learning opportunities.

Alternate Learning Pathways (ALPs)
In the remote regions of Karg Allai and Bateela Allai (District Battagram), our ALPs centers help girls continue post-primary education. A condensed 18-month curriculum leads to a lower-secondary certificate, with examinations by Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and practical livelihood skills — 150 girls enrolled across two centers.

Emergency Response Program
Since the 2005 earthquake in the Northern Areas and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, we have stayed on the frontline of disaster response — offering psychosocial support to traumatised children, rebuilding infrastructure, and establishing Temporary Learning Centers (TLCs) to restore education after crises.
Flood-resilient construction insights
Our experts share recommendations for enhancing flood resilience in vulnerable areas — elevating existing structures, incorporating pile foundations and using flood-resistant materials in new construction, with innovative design approaches that mitigate flood damage.
