What is the volunteer orientation process at KnK Japan?
Once you get in touch, we arrange a short orientation that introduces our mission, values and safeguarding practices, walks you through your role and connects you with the team you'll be working with, so you can start with confidence.
How does KnK Japan support volunteers during their service?
You'll have a dedicated point of contact for guidance, clear expectations for your role, and the training and resources needed to contribute safely and effectively. We check in regularly and welcome your ideas throughout.
Can I volunteer remotely with KnK Japan?
Yes. Several roles — such as research, translation, design and communications — can be done remotely, while field-based activities take place on the ground in Pakistan. Let us know your preference and we'll find a good fit.
